Your direct partner and project lead is our CEO and lead consultant, Dr. Erika Jacobi. Erika has business experience on three continents. She has founded two businesses and grew them to great success. Additionally, she functioned as an interim CEO and Global Change and Design Lead for various other companies. Her biggest asset is that she has gone through every single phase of the business development that you might be looking for with her own company and other businesses. This includes going from founding to start-up, growth to culture transformation, scaling-up to scaling-down, and finally going international. This hands-on experience coupled with in-depth academic know-how makes her a determined and empathetic change lead, business consultant, and adviser to top management teams as well as CEOs. Erika has a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Change M.A. in Human and Organizational Behavior from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, California as well as an M.A. in Cognitive Linguistics and Literature from the esteemed Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. She specializes in adaptive and agile organization design and can't wait to discover with you how to breathe new life and energy into your business. 

With her academic and business expertise, she further designs transformational Learning & Development initiatives, training, or executive coaching programs. Once the design fully suits your needs, she staffs the project with the right coaches or consultants and helps to roll it out on our cloud-based learning and development platform. Being a certified Business Coach herself, she serves as a mentor to all LC GLOBAL® Coaches and Consultants and as a liaison between your end client, HR, Management, and all other stakeholders. Her work as a project lead and design genie is backed up by a wonderful team in our two back offices in New York City and Munich, Germany.

Chairman of the Board: Dr. Laurence Severance

Dr Laurence Severance - Chairman of the Board - LC GLOBAL  Consulting Inc.

Dr. Larry Severance joined LC GLOBAL Consulting Inc. in his function as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in March 2018. As a lawyer, dispute resolution specialist and conflict mediator, he has consulted to businesses across sectors and organizational levels. In his work, he combines cultural sensitivity and organizational behavior savvy with decade-long legal expertise to achieve the best results for his clients. Dr. Severance holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. His numerous publications focus on legal matters as well as identity and cultural aspects of human and organizational development. He has served as an associate faculty member in the Department of Psychology at the University of Washington as well as University Without Walls, Comstock, NY. Furthermore, he was a consulting reviewer for the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

Board Member: Dr. Judy Stevens-Long

Dr. Stevens Long has been a member of the Board of Directors for LC GLOBAL Consulting Inc. since March 2018. She is a Human and Organizational Development specialist with extensive experience as an organizational consultant as well as a professor and administrator. She has specialized in communication and team-building and has worked with professionals in the fields of law, medicine and university education. She has published numerous books and articles in adult development, including four editions of the best-selling text, Adult Life. Her recent publications include articles on grand theory in human development, personality and ego-development, the assessment of graduate education, and the design of virtual educational environments. She recently finished the 2nd edition of the Oxford bibliography in Adult Development. Dr. Stevens-Long has served as a professor and Malcolm Knowles Chair for Adult Development and Learning in the Ph.D. program in Human and Organizational Development for Fielding Graduate Institute. for which she designed one of the first online master’s degrees in the country.

Dr. Erika Jacobi is the founder and Global CEO of the offices in New York, NY and Munich, Germany. Residing in New York City, she additionally is the managing director of LC GLOBAL Consulting Inc, the American subsidiary. As an international business leader with 15+ years of experience, she has facilitated large-scale organizational growth, change, and innovation processes for companies in Europe, the USA and the Middle East. Providing C-Suite advice to leaders around the world, she specializes in adaptive organization design that drives desired behavior and results. Erika Jacobi holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Change and an M.A. in Human and Organizational Behavior, Systems, and Development. Her research focuses on the collective cognition and identity in successful organizations.

Erika's clients have included Microsoft, Sony Mobile Communications, FCB, Estée Lauder, leading health care providers, and The United Nations. As a business leader on three continents and a certified coach, Erika has coached top business leaders of Fortune 500 companies. She has further taught Change and Innovation Leadership at Universities around the globe for MBA and Ph.D. programs. She is a published author in the field of Organizational Change, Development, and Innovation and a regular speaker at international conferences.

Dr. Barton Buechner - Veteran-Friendly Organizations

Dr. Barton is a scholar-practitioner with over 30 years of experience in, organizational communication, change management and strategy development at the state, national and international levels. He is a fellow of the Council for Excellence in Government in Washington, DC. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the CMM Institute for Personal and Social Evolution and is an advisor to several advocacy and network organizations in higher education and talent acquisition. Barton teaches Corporate Psychology at Adler University and with a personal military background advises on the Veteran-Friendly Organization. 

Dr. Sergej van Middendorp - Innovation and Complex Systems


After 10 years of work in implementing large scale IT systems, Sergej turned to value networks, intellectual capital, and knowledge management. In the past seven years, Sergej performed PhD research on the metaphor of organizational improvisation and its impact on human and organizational systems. Sergej has an MBA from Henley Business School in the Netherlands. He holds a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, California.

John Reaves - Product Innovation and Creative Thinking

John Reaves, Innovation Consultant, Creativity Specialist

John has practiced at the intersection of creativity and innovation for over 30 years, helping to develop new products and services, as well as designing new innovation models, programs, and curricula. He has worked with the lab teams at IBM, Bell Labs, Epson, NTT, Arm & Hammer, and Kraft. He has developed innovation and creativity programs for GE, Nationwide, Glaxo Smith Kline, and the National Science Foundation. He has supported product management teams at SAP, LexisNexis, Lucent, and Microsoft, as well as change management initiatives at GM, Exxon, and PepsiCo.

Executive Coaches

For our executive coaching programs, we work with a pool of ICF-certified coaches all over the world. For every coaching  assignment, we conduct a thorough needs analysis and a tailored 360° feedback assessment. Based on the expectations and coaching needs of your executives, we will select a suitable coach. The selection is based on expertise, location, language requirements as well as on personality. After a chemistry call, the coaching journey begins. In addition to establishing a trusting relationship between the coach and your executives, the head coach will mentor the coaches and serve as a project lead.
